This is a painting that I have done of a lady in the rain. Her surroundings are foggy and dark while her umbrella has a splash of vibrant colors as she takes cover from the rain. I had a blast painting this because I was able to play with a wide range of colors and there were no boundaries to hold me back. Everything has been done with a paint brush except for the bottom where I added the fog with a pellet knife. The medium that I used was acrylic paints because they dry quickly compared to oils and I finished it off by adding a gloss coating.
