"Flower in the Dark" Painting

 

This is a oil painting that I have done and so far I have only done one and this is it. I chose to use oils because thy blend very nicely and a majority of this painting is just taking the paint and making curved downward strokes with the paint brush. The one thing about oils is that it takes a very long time to dry, so you can't layer as quickly as you do in acrylics. With acrylics it will dry within minutes, but with oils it will take a few days.
